Updated Protocols to Protect You, Your Pet & Our Staff

At Malta Animal Hospital we are continuing with curbside care which has been very successful in providing quality veterinary care to our clients and patients. Due to our commitment to safety, sanitizing, ventilation efforts and our limited building access, we plan to continue with curbside care throughout the winter months as the COVID cases have increased in our area and we want to make sure we keep our community and staff safe.

We are allowing exceptions for entering our building for family members wishing to be with their pets during euthanasia. Before entering the building, we will be using a no-touch thermometer to take temperatures of pet parents (needing to be below 100 F), along with a covid-19 screening
form to fill out.

When you arrive for your appointment we ask that you call the office at 518-885-2550. Please let our Client Service team know your name, your pet’s name, as well as your cell phone number and your car model and color. At that time our Client Service team will take a form of payment to hold until after the appointment. A veterinary technician will then come out to your car and bring your pet inside. We will then call you to go over your pet’s history and any necessary diagnostics or treatments. The doctor will keep in touch with any findings or updates.
